Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board Notifies About Negative Marking In Exam

UPPRPB: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) says that there will be negative marking in the jail warder, fireman and constable cavalry recruitment examination. This recruitment examination will be held on December 19 and 20 in two shifts in different districts of the state. Admit cards have not been issued for this recruitment examination yet. Admit cards will be released soon on the official website uppbpb.gov.in.

The board says that it was erroneously printed in the written examination instruction that there would be no negative marking in the examination. Correcting which the board has now reported that there will be negative marking in the recruitment examination.

Examination will be done at 401 centers in 10 districts

These recruitment exams will be held at 401 centers in 10 districts of Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Bareilly, Meerut, Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad. In this recruitment, 3638 posts of jail warders (3012 men and 628 women), 102 posts of constable cavalry police and 2085 posts of firemen in the fire department are to be filled. Actually, through this recruitment examination, the board will select candidates to fill more than 5,000 vacancies in the Prison Administration and Corrections Department. Candidates will be selected through written examination, verification of documents and physical measurement test.
