WhatsApp Co-founder Brain Acton tweet his followers to delete their Facebook Account. The Cofounder of WhatsApp has left the company last year to start his own venture. From last three year’s he was still with WhatsApp after acquired by Facebook for $16 billion (approximately Rs. 1,04,300 crores). He amid this criticism against Facebook for allowing misuse of data collected by Cambridge Analytica,
Yesterday he tweet that “It is time. #deletefacebook”. This hashtag #deletefacebook campaign was running on all social media channels from last couple of days. This legend added his voice to this moment with their tweet. Acton who has approx worth $6.5 billion didn’t respond about this tweet also WhatsApp declined to speak about it.

There are many former head had also express there unease about the company after leaving facebook. Last year the former head of growth Chamath Palihapitiya said that “we have created tools that are ripping apart the social fabric of how society works.” some of the other former head have also express there regret including Sean Parker, Justin Rosenstein, and investor Roger McNamee.

On Wednesday evening Mark Zuckerberg apologized for the Cambridge Analytica privacy scandal and said
“This was a major breach of trust and I’m really sorry this happened,” he said in an interview on CNN. “Our responsibility now is to make sure this doesn’t happen again.”
