श्री गुरु चरण सरोज रज, निज मन मुकुरु सुधारि।
बरनऊं रघुवर बिमल जसु, जो दायकु फल चारि।
Meaning- By purifying the mirror of my mind from the dust of the lotus feet of Shri Guru Maharaj, I describe the serene fame of Shri Raghuveer, who is going to give all the four fruits to Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha.
बुद्धिहीन तनु जानिके, सुमिरो पवन-कुमार।
बल बुद्धि विद्या देहु मोहिं, हरहु कलेश विकार।
Meaning: Hey Pawan Kumar! I invite you, You already know that my body and intellect are weak. Give me physical strength, wisdom and knowledge and destroy my sorrows and faults.
जय हनुमान ज्ञान गुण सागर, जय कपीस तिहुं लोक उजागर॥1॥
Meaning: Sri Hanuman ji. Your knowledge and qualities are immense. Hey Kapishwar! We salute you! You have fame in the three worlds, Swarga Loka, Bhuloka and Patala Loka.
राम दूत अतुलित बलधामा, अंजनी पुत्र पवन सुत नामा॥2॥
Meaning: Hey Pawansut Anjani Nandan! No one is as strong as you.
महावीर विक्रम बजरंगी, कुमति निवार सुमति के संगी॥3॥
Meaning: O Mahavir Bajrang Bali! You are special. You remove the bad intellect, and the companion of the good intellect is helpful.
कंचन बरन बिराज सुबेसा, कानन कुण्डल कुंचित केसा॥4॥
Meaning- You are beautified with golden color, beautiful clothes, kundal in ears and curly hair.
हाथबज्र और ध्वजा विराजे, कांधे मूंज जनेऊ साजै॥5॥
Meaning – You have a buzzer and a flag in your hand and a glow of shrines on the shoulder.
शंकर सुवन केसरी नंदन, तेज प्रताप महा जग वंदन॥6॥
Meaning- Shankar’s avatar! O Kesari Nandan, your valor and great fame are the worship all over the world.
विद्यावान गुणी अति चातुर, राम काज करिबे को आतुर॥7॥
Meaning – You are a rudimentary scholar, by virtue and skillful work, you are eager to work for Shri Rama.
प्रभु चरित्र सुनिबे को रसिया, राम लखन सीता मन बसिया॥8॥
Meaning- You take pleasure in listening to Shri Ram Charit. Shri Ram, Sita and Lakhan reside in your heart.
सूक्ष्म रूप धरि सियहिं दिखावा, बिकट रूप धरि लंक जरावा॥9॥
Meaning – You took your very small form and showed Sita ji and lit Lanka in a terrible form.
भीम रूप धरि असुर संहारे, रामचन्द्र के काज संवारे॥10॥
Meaning- You killed the demons by taking the form of a giant and made the objectives of Shri Ramchandra Ji successful.
लाय सजीवन लखन जियाये, श्री रघुवीर हरषि उर लाये॥11॥
Meaning – You brought Laxman Ji alive by bringing Sanjeevani Booti, ??by which Shri Raghuveer delighted and engaged you with his heart.
रघुपति कीन्हीं बहुत बड़ाई, तुम मम प्रिय भरत सम भाई॥12॥
Meaning- Shri Ramchandra praised you very much and said that you are my dear brother like Bharata.
सहस बदन तुम्हरो जस गावैं। अस कहि श्रीपति कंठ लगावैं॥13॥
Meaning- Shri Rama took you to the heart by saying that your fame is praiseworthy with a thousand faces.
सनकादिक ब्रह्मादि मुनीसा, नारद, सारद सहित अहीसा॥14॥
Meaning- Shri Sanak, Shri Sanatan, Sri Sanandan, Sri Sanatkumar etc. Muni Brahma etc. Gods Narada, Saraswati ji, Sheshnag ji all sing your virtues.
जम कुबेर दिगपाल जहां ते, कबि कोबिद कहि सके कहां ते॥15॥
Meaning- Yamraj, Kubera, etc., protector of all directions, poet scholar, pandit or no one can fully describe your fame.
तुम उपकार सुग्रीवहि कीन्हा, राम मिलाय राजपद दीन्हा॥16॥
Meaning- You benefited by mixing Sugriva with Shri Ram, due to which he became the king.
तुम्हरो मंत्र विभीषण माना, लंकेस्वर भए सब जग जाना॥17॥
Meaning – Vibhishanji followed your preaching so that he became the king of Lanka, it is known by the whole world.
जुग सहस्त्र जोजन पर भानू, लील्यो ताहि मधुर फल जानू॥18॥
Meaning – The sun is so far away that it takes a thousand yugas to reach it. You swallowed the sun situated at a distance of two thousand yojans as a sweet fruit.
प्रभु मुद्रिका मेलि मुख माहि, जलधि लांघि गये अचरज नाहीं॥19॥
Meaning – You put the ring of Shri Ramchandra ji in the mouth and crossed the sea, there is no wonder.
दुर्गम काज जगत के जेते, सुगम अनुग्रह तुम्हरे तेते॥20॥
Meaning- All the hardest things in the world, they become comfortable with your grace.
